Nowadays
we can everywhere hear this really popular phrase from lone women or
weak men to acquit their bad private situation or sneaky deed.
Usually people use this statement to describe moral dignities of the
past. I offer to think about this determination and find out if it is
true or false.
First
of all, it goes without saying that many priciples since, for
example, 19 century, changed a lot and, to be honesty, now there
aren't any strict rules and fear of breaking them. Men used to be
really ideal: gentlemen according to women's opinion used to be
physically strong, used to be very intelligent and have high mental
principles. So, we have an example of ideal man like Zarathustra.
But I am convinced that it is impossible to be without any drawbacks
and “the real gentleman” means example which every man has to
follow. Nowadays there are real gentlemen too, but there is no cult
about these words. Moreover we don't have to forget about ladies and
strict tenets they should follow.
In
conclusion I'd like to say again that it is the statement is
absolutely incorrect and we don't have to care about it. It is
impossible to be an ideal person, but, obviously, we should have
moral limits and follow them.
