Does education mean success?

Nowadays there are a lot of people without high education.  For example Bill Gates who created and based the Microsoft corporation, Tom Hanks who achieved world fame and recognition or Walt Disney who gave us so many incredible stories. But maybe they are just lucky?

From my point of view in our contemporary world education means a lot. Did you graduate from university with diploma with honours? That is good. Did you finish two universities or do you have a dual diploma? That is better. Did you study or interned abroad? Perfect. Of course, if a person has not achieved all this things it does not mean that he/she will be unemployed. He or she will get a job, maybe even a good job, but preference is mainly given to people with the most impressive CV. (Let’s not consider the cases when people are lying in their CV or the job is given to someone’s friends or relatives). Now well educated people do not always get a good job or a professional job, for different reasons unknown for me, so we can see that luck plays a great role too.

Primarily, the education is important because the educated person has more opportunities. He/she can choose the sphere of his/her work. Such person will not carry out the instructions like:”Fetch and carry”. No. People with education will be able to choose their future way, the way that they really want. That is the reason I think that education means a lot.

To sum up my idea I would like to say that study well at school and enter a good university is very important because education can help to achieve self-realization and get a job which can help a person make a living.
